Dryer isn’t tumbling

The first diagnostic step I took was to check the power source. I made sure that the dryer was plugged in and that the circuit breaker was not tripped. Everything seemed to be in order.

The second diagnostic step I took was to check the belt that turns the drum. I opened up the dryer and found that the belt had snapped. I knew that a broken belt could cause the dryer drum to not tumble.

The third diagnostic step I took was to check the idler pulley and the drum rollers. I inspected them for any signs of wear and tear, and found that they were both worn out. I knew that worn out parts could cause the belt to break and the drum to stop tumbling.

With these diagnostic steps completed, I knew what needed to be done to fix the dryer. I replaced the broken belt, the worn out idler pulley, and the drum rollers. I then tested the dryer to make sure that the drum was tumbling properly.

Once I was satisfied that everything was in working order, I cleaned up my tools and let the owner know that the dryer was fixed. They were very happy and satisfied with my work.

And that’s how I, Appliance Ace, diagnosed and fixed a dryer that wasn’t tumbling.
